POOL AND OPEN WATER

Do you want to improve your endurance for longer surf sessions?

Or do you feel your surfing progress is limited when instincts take over, like when waves grow bigger, or when the ground disappears beneath your feet?

Swimming is the most powerful way to strengthen endurance and transform moments of discomfort into confidence.

When swimming feels like working hard just to stay afloat, the first goal is to change that.

Once you experience how effortless swimming can feel with proper technique, you’ll start to enjoy it and feel truly at home in the water, with or without surfboard.

We start wherever you feel safe,  in the pool or in the ocean at a protected, shallow beach. 

From there, we gradually expand your comfort zone. Step by step, at your pace.

Soon, swimming becomes a source of calm focus in the moment — leaving you grounded, with a lasting sense of energy, satisfaction, and stoke.   

What to expect:

  • Understanding buoyancy and body position; Gliding

Learn how body alignment, posture, and breathing influence your ability to float and move effortlessly through the water.

  • Breathe with ease

Develop breathing control, technique, and rhythm — full exhalation and calm recovery, no forced timing.

  • Introduction to propulsion

Basic flutter kick and body-led movement

  • Use of training aids  

Pull-Kick, Fins, Center-mount snorkel

  • Front crawl technique (kinematic focus)

Improve arm movement, gliding phases, and streamline position.

  • Coordination of breathing and propulsion

Train a relaxed, aligned posture that supports endurance and efficiency.

  • Progression to dynamic water conditions and training methods

Apply your skills in open water or explore structured endurance formats such and interval-based sessions when you feel ready.
